Play First started as a dream to encourage children’s play and build an understanding among parents and teachers about play as a developmental tool.

Now, we are recalibrating and devising ways of not only bringing play to classrooms but also for positioning playfulness as a pedagogical competence among teachers. Our belief is that if teachers start nurturing and optimizing their playfulness, each day and hour of learning at school can be a playful experience for children. With this belief, we are transitioning into Teacher Professional Development. We aim to enable teachers to create playful learning environments so that whether they are playing with children or teaching complex academic concepts, the environment in the classroom remains playful, safe, and stimulating.
